“Grandma and Grandpa’s” is an immersive installation that is inspired by my grandparent’s apartment complex. The screen-printed texture is half toned aerial views of different significant locations and buildings. The overlapping of the buildings and colors is to convey the confusion and dislocation associated to my perception of what “place” means. The furniture elements are actual objects found in my home mixed with my grandparent’s home.
